2018 Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo

Porsche debuted this new all-electric Cross-Utility vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show. This car or something very much like it will probably enter production by 2021. Porsche is committed to electric and hybrid power, and their current offerings are quite popular. For example, almost 60% of the Panameras sold in Europe are plug-in E-hybrids.

Power comes by means of two permanently excited synchronous motors together producing 600 hp, and is transferred to the road via demand-controlled AWD with Porsche Torque Vectoring that distributes power as needed to each individual wheel. The result is a very quick car, with a 0-62 mph time of 3.5 seconds.

Range is 300 miles, and the battery reaches 80% capacity in only 15 minutes of charging.
